Swaffham Bubeck war memorial is situated on Stocks Green between the two branches of the High Street. A rough hewn Celtic cross on a tapering rectangular plinth, on a granite step resting on a two stepped cement base. The front face of the plinth bears the dedication and names for the Great War and the small granite step has a smooth panel cut into it to hold the names of the three men who fell in 1939-1945.

Built by Messrs. Goddard of Bury St Edmunds and H. & F. Stevens of Swaffham Bulbeck, the memorial was unveiled on 16th January 1921, with the dedication by Frederic Henry Chase, Bishop of Ely. Costs were met through public subscription.

In 2010, a grant of £935 was offered through the Small Grants Scheme towards repair and cleaning works. The render of the concrete steps was extensively damaged with cracks and sections which were missing. This was removed and the steps were reformed with waterproof render and finished with waterproof cement and sealant. The granite surfaces were cleaned with low pressure water and non-metallic brushes and all joints re-pointed with lime mortar mix. Damaged letters were replaced and all lettering re-painted in black enamel.

The dedication reads:-
